11 years of scandinavien travel expertise as a tv-reporter combined with 6 years unconditional adventure love on paws shall now lead to 1200 km on world’s northernmost pilgrimage way.
We are Skipper, a 6-year-old Münsterländer dog, and Kristin, an outdoor and sports-loving presenter from Kiel with a passion for storytelling. We want to walk from Turku in Finland to Trondheim in Norway between May and August 2026.
Water is a strong part in our daily life and business. We are on the beach in Kiel, Germany every day, go swimming all year round, but also we are concerned about our nature, our oceans and rivers.
That’s why the „Waterway“ along the finish archipelago as a pilgrimage path is a perfect base and start for our journey, to then follow to the Åland islands, the Swedish coastline and footsteps of St.Olav along the rivers up to the Norwegian mountains.
Walking as a team means, to have a companion along the road, but walking with a dog also means more organization and more concerns.
We want to walk to make it easier to copy and paste our tour for others in the future.
